I fucking love building bikes and spotted this frame in a load of reviews and was looking for a change. Sold my fat bike to a mate and used the money off that for the frame. Well I tried to but in April when I started this all UK stock had sold out and it wsa still ffive weeks till launch. Gutted as I had sold my other bike and they were saying July for more stock. I emailed fifteen or so shops and kept getting 'none left' off everyone and then got a mail off a shop in the Lakes saying they could do me one shortly after the 20th May. Sold says I and the shop have been awesome and frame should be here Wednesday.

Anyway going purple with parts and here are some shots prior to building it.

Just bunged the bottom bracket, cranks and chainring on it. Also smacked my thumb and blood blistered in about thirty seconds. Clearance is tight so lets hope the chainstays aren't too flexy.

More progress, front wheel is the wrong one so getting swapped early in the week. Crank manufacturer has sent me some shims to give more clearance and have now got the front brake on and shortened the hose.

was going to say you need spacers on your crank to bottom bracket or you'd get a mile up the road and cry over the scratched chain stays !

    Hi Bert, happy new bike.

A good few lads that I ride with have tried out 650+ / boost, and I can't recall a single negative comment about them. In fact I seldom see them on their other rides afterwards.

Bizarrely, one lad who has well over 100 KOM`s, started beating his own times on plus tyres, even though he thought he'd already had all the time out of the sections.

Cool. Had a fat bike for a few years but this thing weighs about a metric ton less so should be a lot easier to throw around. I also have a full suss 650b and really like that over 26" so this thing should be ace. Taken ages down to supply mainly. When wheel gets swapped that will be it and then off and trotting.
