Police can seize evidence of an offence under article 20 of pace.
In the circumstances of a video, under data protection they would only be able to look at the data concerning the offence for which it was seized for.
Any other data would not be any use to them unless they started a whole new investigation which for speeding offence I wouldn't be too worried. There would be the burden to prove that the speed on the camera was accurate etc.
