Major nose dive in value today. Now's the time to buy I reckon. Feel like I missed the boat when I jumped in now.

Wish I had more time in the day to keep an eye on them.

    I agree, brilliant buying time.
For whatever reason January had historically been shit year on year sometimes into first week or so of Feb.

Wish I had more fiat to spunk right now but after crimbo like many others I'm not justifying putting more into it right now.
I should have set some aside for this but hey ho.

I'm eyeballing TRX and ADA atm. TRX has really good volume and is currently $0.05 half what it was a month ago. ADA is about $0.50 (dropped from about 75 cents) but I think it has tonnes of potential.

Well Ripple is below the price I said I'd take a punt on but it's still about 4-fold above what it was in December and there are reports that it was an artificial bubble caused by an exchange. Whether these reports be true or not the media has certainly jumped on a lot of negative stories. I'll wait it out as I'm busy but any advice on best exchanges to sign up for?

I'm very sceptical of Ripple. I did make a fair bit off it a few months back but I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I think it is heavily manipulated and why should we trust involvement by financial institutions.

Everything I've invested in has plumet so bad. I'm riding it out in the hope it comes back, but 25% drop is quite alarming on Litecoin.

I just took a punt from the off, not particularly worried about it and will see how things pan out going forward.

If you look at the historical charts for the last 3 years it was roughly the same give or take every Jan/early Feb since 2015... it always turned around and rose again.

Doesn't mean it will continue to do so though, look back at many shares which were cyclical and you could easily make 20% in the regular dips until that time they stopped bouncing.

I think the biggest crash prior to this one saw BTC drop from $13 to 25cents.
If it is that bad this time I think that means $300 doesn't it :-)

Dont see it going that low imho
Some very big resistance at $7k and if that doesn't hold another big buy wall at $4.5k .
Would be surprised if it goes much lower than $8k tbh but what do I know :-)

Just look forward to the bounce and dont sell too early.

Down from over 500% return to 145% overall, and that's with me still buying this week.
2 months of rapid market growth wiped out.

Would love to see it go much lower to make longer-term gains by buying more and more now but equally don't want things to drop to see my current pot drop below what I've put it.

    Thanks to chizh

Also just read the Dow market has had its worst 2 weeks in nearly 3 years. Not a market I follow but I would assume this too has some knock on effect into other markets.

The company I work for has seen its worst share prices ever over the passed month.

From £6 per share to less than 89p per share.

Doesn't worry me because I work my tits off for this place and quite sure it will rise in due course.

Quite a large corporate firm and although our CEO just walked because of it, we should be able to recover. ( I seriously fucking hope so!).

Looks like the bounce back may be starting to occur. Still early to say for any certainty but things looking a little promising at least.

Well first day in about 5 weeks I see a sea of green on the charts instead of red :-) Pretty much across the board too

There's a guy that works with me. He mentioned Bitcoin to me a year ago and said he'd bought some.

I spoke to another guy that (a year ago) that has known him longer than me. He said that this guy was telling them about Bitcoin 5 years ago. They ignored him.

Spoke to the Bitcoin guy a few days ago and he told me he invested $5000 at $40/BC

He's sold most at $12k/BC and made $1.2m. He still has around $200k worth of Bitcoin.

Guy is now saying FedCoin is the next one to invest in

I've been tracking Litecoin & Ethereum.

Bought in on Ethereum at just under £400 each, sold some at £887 and took my investment back, and bought back in at £704, currently down on that though at £551 each. Down c21% on that.

Similar story with Litecoin, bought in originally at £55, sold again at £221, took my stake and some profit back, and then reinvested at £206, that's down to £96 and rapidly falling. But lost of optimism that they'll both recover. Down c51% on that!!

It's a nervous game this Crpyo.

If I can get both of those to see +30% I think I might take out again.

Talking <£10k total portfolio at bought prices. Profile made has been nice, that's been pretty damn good.
