    Default Altered Carbon

Just started watching this last night and it's pretty impressive. The story line has been used before, human minds stored on chips and implanted into a host bodies so they can live indefinitely. It has that dystopian Blade Runner look to it, but it's done well and must of cost a fortune to make. The tits and arse count per episode is also pretty high.

Can’t help but notice all the hype for this. Adverts all over the tube etc.

    Mighy give it a whirl.

Started watching and seems decent. Could go one of two ways really from what I've seen. I'll stick with it though

Finished it last night and I'm giving it a solid 8 out of 10. It looks great and the story line did enough to keep my interest up. It's not without its faults, I felt Bancroft's son was a complete waste of time as a character and Ortega's ability to get over the death of her whole family a bit odd. I would of preferred Will Yun Lee to of played the the main role of Kovacs instead of Joel Kinnaman, however the star of the show has to be Poe the hotel AI and of course, the amazing amount of nipples!

Am I the only one that thought this was a steaming pile of shite? Bored me after 3 episodes but I decided to stick through it because everyone was talking about it and try a few more episodes. Think I got to episode 7 and thought fuck this, I'm done.

I got maybe 3/4 through it, but lost interest. Seemed to be all over the shop and I couldn't get to grips with it in truth.

Action Altered Carbon - Netflix Original

    Hi guys
on the recommendation of my son I binge watched this series (1) on Netflix over the weekend, took me a a couple of episodes to understand wtf was going on though. I really enjoyed it and the cliffhangers at the end of each episode drove me insane for piss/tea breaks lol.
This series is a sort of Sci fi meets action series and story line is well thought out, if far fetched. if you are into sex scenes and nudity you wont be disappointed ( although no midgets ), lots of violence, some very gruesome stuff.
If you had asked me after the first episode I would have gave about 6/10 but after three of four episodes I was totally hooked - i would give 8,5/10.
    Enjoy

Just watched the 4th episode and thought it was great, OK so the lead role is a little wooden but I take it that's his characters style rather than his acting skills.

Special effects are great and the tech also believable, 8/10 from me so far.

    Thanks to Rhinoz
