    Yeah, sadly not BT routers, which is why I didn't think to mention it earlier, well it doesn't work on my model anyway. From what I read more ISP's are making it this way too which is crap. Should have held on to my old Wholesale modem back in the day.

    I haven't tried it with a BT router but what issue were you having? disabling the NAT?

    I just wouldn't play ball as a Modem/Router setup and after googling the model I had, everybody including BT was saying it wouldn't work as a standalone Modem. To be honest, I wouldn't normally settle at that but I couldn't be bothered and that was when I bought the Asus. Perhaps it will work but is just an awkward fooker. I just lost patience. :-) We are talking 18 months back now so difficult to remember.

    Anyway, I migrate to John Lewis Broadband (plusnet) in a week so lets see what joys their router brings. (Free Google Home Device if you migrate this month fyi)
