Hello
I have a panasonic viera tv a few years back. BBC iplayer is still fine but it has no facility to get 4od. Is there any way to update the software on it or do they want you to buy the latest tv.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

No one any answers?
You connect it to your network and go to the settings, software update section or you can try to download from the Panasonic website and put onto a USB/SD and install from there.

It depends which model it is. I've got a Panasonic 2011 Plasma (still the best for SD picture) and they never had apps for any online stuff Five, 4OD etc.
Get a cheap Android box or an Amazon FireStick and don't look back.
TX-P50VT30B it's still plugged into the router and iPlayer works but it's too slow. We've got a Fire TV stick we bought on Black Friday (which is not far away) with sideloaded apps like Kodi etc. It's great for iPlayer, ITVHub, 4OD, MyFive, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.
