Moved into our new home last week and the previous owners left the hot tub. We said it was okay for them to leave it as I have a mate who said he would take it even though it needs craning over the house. However now he's been to look at it and realised how much it would cost to crane it over he's decided he can't take it. So now im stuck with it.
So instead of paying around £500 to get it took away I'm going to cut it up and take it piece by piece to the tip. It's a solid fiber glass jobby with 5 seats, around 6ft by 6ft.
My question is what's best to cut it up with?
I'm considering a chainsaw or a reciprocating saw, I think the chain saw will be messy but quick while the reciprocating saw will be slow but a little tidier.
Anyone got experience in this?
