That video is based on people being upset he's not scoring. When you ask people often that's not the case. It's his final balls, passing etc that's letting him down this WC.

To be fair to Raheem I thought he had one of his better games yesterday. Although it's his decision making that pisses me off the most. If he's only got 2 options, he always goes for the wrong one.

[Leicester bias] How fucking good is Harry Maguire though? [/Leicester bias]

So has Pickford. Everyone overlooks the poor goalkeepers but he has saved England's skin the last 2 games imho

Like BB I am no football watcher, dont support a team and only get involved in world cups usually but from my point of view Pickford deserves a mention at the very least.

Got to be honest when he didnt pass that ball when kane was just behind him i cringed and thought of you. Im coming round to your thinking lol. The best defence of him I can muster now is the following - He gets into spaces he has no right being in, Thus he terrifies defenders, His pace and runs are superb....He terrifies defenders...lol. He takes a player or 3 out the game at times.....he should learn to pass a bit quicker.....arrggghhhh !!! BTW well done you lot. Even as I cheer every goal - im not up for stealing thunder, it's not my team it's you lot lol...But I will feel just as good/bad whatever happens....Tis begining to feel a bit like 96.....I was in er...my prime..ish back then so maybe rose tinted..but the kids today don't seem to enjoy it as much....old git that i am getting haha.
If england reach the final I shall be one of the many down at Folkstone beach front where they have a giant screen set up that has been showing every match....WC final in the sunset on the beach - carry out surrounded by good mates....what's not to like....Now don't let me down ya fookers.

I also thought of this thread, does that make is really sad? Probably.

I agree on his movemebt and pace, he offers something not many others can, drawing defenders out of position, unpredicability, speed, he's just having a rough time with the final product.

One game at a time, Crotia have done a few pen's now, and they claim the ET they've plaied hasn't hindered them, but it absolutely would have done. Excited and obviously very fucking nervous for Wednesday.

Dare to dream of reaching a final? You bet!

Pickford has been outstanding I'll give him that, although from some of the people I know you'd think Everton had won the World cup already. Sterling is an absolute tit. I can't stand the horrible little twat. Never liked him when he was at Liverpool. Ball greedy glory hunter, no matter what the consequences on his team and team mates.

100% he's been immense for us. Surpassed all our expectations.

He's proper aggro though, shouts at his team mates, the other team, ref, the officials etc..

England should keep playing they are. Big Sam's template is working.
    Long balls, set pieces, headers.

Forget the beautiful game, winning ugly is a win.
They should not drop Sterling, never change a winning team.

If England try to play football they will lose.
    keep it as it is.

Has Sterling done anything useful this whole FWC?

If Pickford wasn't as good as he has been, and let a couple goals in, Sterlings shite play against Sweden would have cost us a win, and been all over the papers.

Lost count how many times he got in to the box and didn't do anything else.

Obviously the numbers are skewed now that there are only three teams left......but can you imagine, one month ago, saying that England would be second favourite to win the world cup?!

    Been a very enjoyable tournament.

The absolute 180 I have done with Gareth is unbelievable.

I slated him pre WC didn't think he was strong enough, tactical enough and just wasn't the man to instill confidence, desire and belief into the lads, but by fuck has he done that. I've been so impressed with not jsut how he holds himself with the media, but his over managerial prowess.

Full time and its 1-1 and have to say we seem to be giving the ball away and not taking our chances when we get them.

Can't see us beating Croatia in extra time or penalties.

    Ffs come on England!
