    Default Headphones recommendation....

I really want a decent set for gaming on my laptop, but a few people have mentioned to me to just get a decent all round set of headphones, and that putting the word "gaming" in front simply adds ££ signs.

I know senheiser are a good make, but other than that I have no idea. Budget would be around £100-150, and would preferably like a dock.

Do you lot have any that you swear by and that the sound quality is pretty good?

I use a pair of Sony mdr-zx770bn for general use and commuting etc. But not when the weather is hot. Any over ear headphones will make your ears sweat! I use my Apple Airpods as an alternative.

For DJ'ing I use senheiser HD-25's. An on ear design that's got great sound reprodcution.

    Don't by Beats...

I would say Shure or Sennheiser, but this is from my experience with them for music rather than gaming/general pc usage.

As well as "gaming", stay clear of "Beats" and other fashion brands that pretend they are quality orientated.
