BBC News Conservative Ministers resigning over brexit

Brexit Secretary David Davis has resigned from the UK government.
His resignation comes days after Theresa May secured the cabinet's backing for her Brexit plan despite claims from Brexiteers that it was too "soft".
Mr Davis was appointed Brexit secretary in 2016 and was responsible for negotiating the UK withdrawal from the EU.
A Brexiteer hailed his resignation as a "principled and brave decision".

Conservative MP Peter Bone said Mr Davis had "done the right thing", adding: "The PM's proposals for a Brexit in name only are not acceptable."
Labour Party chairman Ian Lavery said: "This is absolute chaos and Theresa May has no authority left."
The resignation comes as Mrs May prepares to face the House of Commons and then Tory MPs and peers on Monday to discuss her Brexit plan.
Mrs May is expected to tell MPs that the strategy agreed on by the cabinet at Chequers on Friday is the "right Brexit" for Britain.

Mays finished. Never trust a politician, she trusted hers, they’ve stabbed her in the back to protect themselves.

then that fckface corbyn will get in and totally screw up the democratic system of going against the majority of the people and wanting another referendum on stay/leave.

BBC News Jeremy Hunt replaces Boris Johnson as foreign secretary

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has been named as the new foreign secretary after Boris Johnson resigned over the prime minister's Brexit strategy.
Culture Secretary Matt Hancock replaces Mr Hunt as health secretary, as Theresa May carries out a reshuffle of her top team.
Attorney General Jeremy Wright is the new culture secretary.
It comes after a day of political crisis at the top of government over the prime minister's Brexit plan.
Mr Johnson claimed in his resignation letter that her approach would lead to a "semi-Brexit".
Mrs May said she was "sorry - and a little surprised" by Mr Johnson's move after his apparent support on Friday, when ministers held talks at Chequers.
She said the deal agreed by the cabinet after their "productive discussions" at Chequers would "honour the result of the referendum" and allow the UK to "take back control of our borders, our law and our money".

Did you get that quote from the Sun? Mail? as he nor Labour have ever said or even indicated they would go against the will of the people quite the reverse, I hope there isn't an election because who ever is in charge of this shit storm will be out of government for a long time after the next election.

They will never get agreement on what they want, you could ask 100 brexit voters what they wanted, would accept or expected and get 50 different answers, no matter what they come up with at best you will only ever please about 10% of brexit voters if you are lucky.

3 Thanks given to Bald Bouncer

BBC News Tory vice chairs quit over Brexit

Two vice chairs of the Conservative Party, Maria Caulfield and Ben Bradley, are quitting their posts in protest at Theresa May's Chequers Brexit compromise plan.
Both have warned they will lose their seats unless the Tories deliver Brexit.
Ms Caulfield supported Leave in the EU referendum, and Mr Bradley backed Remain.
Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Brexit Secretary David Davis have already quit.

You may well not have heard of them but it's warning from disgruntled Tories that they are capable of continuing to inflict damage on the PM unless she changes tack

All you fucks who voted for Brexit deserve this, at least Farage got paid. The smart thing for Theresa to do is to say the referendum is not legally blinding (which is true) and then bend over for the EU, rollback all this shit.

You know i was talking to a few of my relatives, who all voted to leave. It's like they forgot their own skin color and the hardships they went through. They did not understand the concept that if your out of Europe and the market, there is no legitimate reason for big businesses to stay in the UK and the EU has no reason to go soft with Brexit, if anything the EU will be more aggressive to prevent other countries from doing stupid referendums.

    Thanks to Sanj[UK]

My biggest question in all of this is about David Davis.

He said in an interview yesterday, that he didn't agree with the Brexit plan that had been agreed, and because he would have deliver it, he therefore had to resign.

So my question is, if he doesn't like and cannot deliver the plan that he has been leading, then what the fuck has he actually been doing for the past two years??!

When cnuts that can't count realise with the help of those that CAN count that they will NEVER get brexit through parliament. It will end when "they" and "the will of the people" get the fact that 27x countries is greater than 1 and the 27 have always said that the 4 ideals are inseprable....freedome of movement for "everything" for those who don't quite get it.
It will end when people accept that there was never an offer on the table and flouncing out was never going to change that.
It will end when brexit voters realise that BMW nor any other car manufacturer run the EU....It's much bigger than a few german car makers.
There will be no ge this year. May will easily win any no confidence vote.....those pesky numbers and counting thing again....oh and corbyn and labour would do very well indeed to let the nasty party get on with self emploding and generally fucking things up as punishment to the voters who still returned a conservative majority last ge.....you get what you pay for....you vote for this shit (not you personally micky) then you deserve every extra day/week/month that you suffer the results.
Anyone who wanted brexit should have voted ukip .....and got what they deserved, but that pesky numbers thing again.....Even Diane Abbott has managed to win a seat in westminster.....something Farage "the great leader" never managed.
