Help One Plus 6 considering to buy

So since the original iphone came out i've been on Apple phones, but seeing a friends S8 camera quality against my iphone 7 I was amazed.
Been reading on here about clones and phones from China elphone etc, then dropped on the One Plus 6.

From what i've seen reviews speed tests etc it's almost on par with the iphone x
anyone got one as i've got my finger on the trigger to buy one so any irl honest reviews from you would be more valuable than any youtube paid for review.

    cheers

A friend has one and I had a play. Was jealous as fuck. Cant comment as a long time user but it was fast as fuck and the pictures were better than on my 21MP Sony IMX lens in my Elephone M3 and his MP was much lower iirc.

Would bin off Apple in a heartbeat for the price/spec.

Chinese phone specs/brands are a real game changer right now. Build quality fantastic compared to 3 years back. They are using LG screens and other top end brand internals in the top chinese clone phones. No reason not to imho

I ditched my iPhone for a OnePlus 3 nearly 2 years back. Never regretted it for a moment. The only thing I could say that could be better is a music player like iTunes of years gone by. But this is probably due to not looking more music apps!

I have a OnePlus 5T and love it. Battery lasts 2 days and charges to around 70% in half an hour with their dash charger. Dual sim is nice too, I have a anywhere paygo sim in the second slot. My number diverts to the anywhere sim if I lose signal on my main three sim.

I had a Pixel 2 before this and although the camera on the pixel was better I don't really miss it. I took it back after a week and got the oneplus.

Updates are coming really quickly too. I updated the other day to 8.1 with the June security updates. Android P is supposed to be coming in September.

    Thanks lads,

With the duel sim can they both be active at the same time, I have a GiffGaff PAYG for my personal stuff and a Vodaphone works sim.
Would be great if both are active at the same time means I can sell my iphone 7 and give work back their 6s

Any other tips would be great too as it's due to arrive today

I bought the missus the One Plus 5T and she loves it as say the battery is awesome and it is very fast phone (only get better with the 6) look out for the little switch on the side to put it in Slient/Vibrate mode as you cannot do via the software (took my missus a couple of days to find it and was moaning about no silent mode until she found it)

Yeah both can be active at the same time for calls/SMS but one has to be selected for mobile data. You can provide a name for each one that will display when calls come in (Personal/Work) but in the SMS app they are numbered 1 and 2. I used my OnePlus 5 for work and personal use before the policy changed.

I bought the OnePlus 5 for £500 (128GB/8GB) at launch and loved it - sold it second hand for £300 and bought the OnePlus 6 at launch - I highly rate them. Some photos I took with the OP6 linked below. Putting into consideration the cost of ownership and my SIM only price - it's a bargain.

If I was feeling richer I probably would have gone for this instead of the Ulefone Power 5. I'm very happy with the Ulefone but the OPO seems to be the king of the "unknown" brands on paper.

Seriously tempted, but going to jump on the 6T I think
The price is a bargain, but support will probably require you to send it back to the reseller. Ive had a dashcam go bad and GB were poor on customer support. For that reason alone Id only buy direct from OP.
