    gamehelp Tv licence.

I read in to cancelling my TV licence but its written as per normal to confuse.
My understanding of it is if it watch programs live or bbc programs I need one.
Catch up (non bbc)and streaming non live is OK.

Anybody not have one and if so do you get hassled by letters and phone call telling you, you must have one?
Lots of my repairs and pictures of retro stuff on my twitter.

I'm not sure if it still happens but I read online that they will essentially harass, look through windows etc. I think your understanding is right though as the other channels get advertising funds.

I was led to believe if you have a means of receiving the bbc you need a license.
Even if it’s just a radio tv or internet connected device.

Although I haven’t watched live tv in years I’m tempted to ditch the tv license myself.

I Ditched mine about 5 years back
got sum numbty ringing me up at around 11 pm one night and started asking questions.
I told him i dont need a Tv license as i only stream from the internet and dont watch any crap
live broadcasts from any channel. He seemed ok with it, till i told him i also dont like to fund
a bunch of @ssoles that fund Peadaphiles.

Long story short i did get a letter for a couple of years, but they seem to have dried up, asking me
to confirm that i still dont need a license. Ohh and i got a rebate of i think 60-70 for the unused months i told
    him i didnt use it.

You do not have to let them in your property and if they trespass on your land you can tell them to leave, they have
    no authority

    Thanks to Mickey

    MSE has lots of info:
    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/br...tv/tv-licence/

If the TV licence people come around you dont have to let them in(unless they have a warrant), you can also remove thier "implied right of access" theres loads of info online about that along with lots of youtube vids

    This ^^^
You gotta tick the box to remove their "right to access"
    Then they'll leave you alone

Out of interest after ditching the fee has anyone continued or resumed watching the BBC?
