Question Controlling Multiple echos what’s your tips.

We have 5 echos in our house and I’m finding it useful controlling each unit from one room but I do have a few gripes.

So if I’m playing music in the everywhere group and I’m in the kitchen I can control the volume on each unit by saying Alexa living room volume four.
Or garage volume 5 and so on.
the only gripe I have is if im Listening to music in one room I can’t semd it to the everywhere group without stopping it and I can’t send it to just one echo from the everywhere group without stopping it either!

i do like the the drop in feature, But then that’s got down sides too.
If I’m working in the garage and I drop in on living room we can barely hear each other unless right over the echo.

Something I would love to be able to do which I haven’t figured out yet is to set up an action.
    For example.

When my little boy (17mnths) gets out the bath we take him into the bedroom dim the lights to 30% and play twinkle twinkle little star and he sings along before he goes to sleep.
I would like to be able to just say Alexa Charlie’s bedtime and it plays it and dims the light.
If anyone knows how to please let me know.

    Whats your tips ?

Its really, really, really bad to admit.
Our youngest who is now 1 and 3 months. He first spoke at 10 months.

I'm really embarassed to admit his first words were a baby version of "Hey Google" sounds like "Hey GooGoo" no mistaking it.
Felt like a shit parent for weeks pmsl

Not mama or dada.... fucking Hey Google.

He would go upto the device to say it too. Look at the shelf it is on and say it

    2 Thanks given to piggzy

Luckily Charlie can’t say Alexa yet but he tries
hes mesmarised by the blue lights though when you say Alexa he looks to where the echo is and waits for her to answer. Oddly he’s done that for a long time.

if you try to say it different it doesn’t respond so if you say lexa or ayexa it doesn’t do anything.
does the google activate if you just get sort of close like ok goo goo?

No. The 4 years old only just gets it to respond as he doesnt say it quite perfectly.
