It was about 2 years of my life wasted.
I find it odd how we were all wiping shit down with disinfectant even bananas ffs washing our clothes coming back from the shop.
now no one gives a fuck??
Im high risk and on fourth jab but I have had covid 3 times now luckily all mild(ish) symptoms but I still wear a mask in shops and in public.
Everyone seems to forget what it was like and stands 3 inches from my back in Tesco at the checkout.

For me it was an adverse reaction to the Astra Zenica.. Messed me up badly for six months, I should have taken my chances with the cough lol
I lasted four weeks at home then went back to the workplace to get more done.
Meanwhile people were looking for any excuse why they hadn't completed things etc. while working at home. Phoned one woman who was late for a teams meeting and I'd obviously woken her up.
Thought 2020 wasn't too bad we had great weather to be at home when we could or were forced to.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

Bought a business 3 months before covid it went from £150-175 a day takings and first 3 months I had it doing £450 + a day
And it stopped me having to travel with work
covid hit I had close stay pay all bills, not much support (hospitality but was a new business) spunked £20k savings keeping myself and staff in jobs now about sell it all for a quid if I’m lucky and still be £20k in debt at same time met my partner and now separating from her as couldn’t switch off from work
other than that had it twice that I know of but still think first time was Dec 19 before it supposedly hit UK
My younger brother who is being treated for cancer is very anxious about catching covid over and above other viruses.
I can understand why but I try to chill him out by saying it's in his control to protect himself when he's out and about which nowadays means going to the hospital and nowhere else.

I work in a hospital as an IT engineer. I've been lucky so far and not had it yet.
It was a pain having to get into full PPE to go and check a pc etc.
'Sausages! Hot sausages! Inna bun! Meat pies! Get them while they're hot!'
... Hole food! Hole food! Rat! Rat! Rat-onna-stick! Rat-in-a-bun! Get them while they're dead!'
Me and the wife caught it, back in November 19 I had it and the wife caught it January 20.
The docs said it was a chest infection same for the wife then in March shit hit the fan and by then it was to late.
We then caught it again last month June and still now suffering with breathing difficulties.

I left a job of 13 years in to a new job as a ATC Radar systems engineer. Start date was 1st lock down.
Was told not to attend site and stay at home was very daunting.
Eventually got sent some IT to do some online training courses,
Was about 8 months before I physically met my team and get hands on the kit.
Was such a weird time to start a new job but glad still got one in the end up.
Mrs is a nurse and worked her butt off throughout while I was sat at home watching day time TV.
I quit the ambulance service when they tried to force the jabs on us, some collegues stuck it out and then they relaised thery were going to loose a hell of a lot of staff ( mostly frontline) and it was all brushed out the way.
Im glad i got out as its still a toxic enviorment between the did haves and didnts, i saw enough unexplained death and symptoms in otherwise fit and healthy people to realise it was a gamble
