Renault codes free from Renault app

I was trying to find out if my head unit has a code and found a surprising link on Renault.

If you download the myrenault app on AppStore or play store add your reg number to add your car.
then scroll down to show my radio code it will give you your code free.

It works for my car 2013 but I’m not sure about older models?
Worth checking if you need a code and your code doesn’t come up on the previous thread with a list of codes.
