Default anyone have knowledge of Adult electric scooters please?

I'm looking to buy one of these in the next 3 or 4 months but have no idea what I'm looking at..lol..

I need one with decent power(enough to get up hills) and range but nothing silly priced..
Looking online I have no idea who's a scammer orif the scooter is any good.
Can anyone offer some advice on what I should be looking at please?

I don't know a lot but I have the Xiaomi Essential eScooter.

Its nothing fancy, but it does the job i needed it for. Was only a couple hundred sheets to buy from https://theescooterco.com/ Can get mods for most scooters, wheels, uprated motors etc. Was an ex-demo but was 100% immaculate. Call them they are great.

Mine has a top speed on 20k (12mph?) and will do 20km on a full charge. This is dependant on weather, hills and my fat ass on it.

It doesn't do hills too well, and I think most struggle unless you spend a shit load on a high spec one.

I had the Xiaomi M365 Pro, I bought in during the pandemic to ride around London. It was a great scooter and held its charge very well. I found you could softmod it with an android phone and increase top speed and acceleration.

The range was good and overall nice to ride.

I ordered mine from AliExpress was about £380 whilst my work mates paid about £580 from Halfords.

I have a brand new one Sat in my garage used once up and down my lane.

Purchased it for getting around camp sites when I had my Motorhome, but sold that now so bike covered in dust.
