Anyone had experience using an [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to increase or remove the speed restriction on a Renault Master mk2 (56 plate). My mate has an Autel maxisys diagnostic kit which gives the option to increase the speed, and even shows a progress bar updating the ecu, but nothing changes and the speed is still restricted to 62mph. Could take it to Renault who will do it for around 80 but was thinking that it may be worth getting a can clip if that will do the job because it would also be useful for future diagnostics. Some limiters are not on the ecu but on a seperate aftermarket system altogether. Have a look around the wiring to the accelerator pedal, normally the hacked part is spliced in to there. It alters the signal the ecu sees when it gets to what ever the desiginated speed is.
If it has this system it's normally just remove 2 spliced in cables and join the cut one back together.

No amount of ecu flashing will sort this type.

Run your wife a nice hot bath, light some candles & pour some wine. Then you've at least 40 mins on the xbox plus a clean wife.

Connected my mate's Autel diagnostic and it shows that the limit is set in the ecu. Also contacted the company that originally sold the bus and they said they get them from Renault with the speed limit already set in the ecu.
