can anyone advise on the best Android tablet sub £300 please?

Hi, as above, looking for a tablet for general/some office use under £300 and preferably under £250 if possible.
I've seen some on android 10 and 11 but don't know if they can or even if they need to upgrade to newer android when it gets released..

We have just bought 2 of the Samsung S6 Lite (one for me and one for the daughter).

Seems OK so far, not sluggish and a nice enough screen and colours are good. £260 @ Currys.

I just ordered the Fire HD10 in their BF event to replace my old HD8 for browsing and posting from the sofa
Think I've managed to swerve signing up to Amazon Prime after being asked.countless times and the given it for free for a while, during the checkout process - but I'm not certain ffs
So now I'm eyeing up cases and magnetic USB connectors on eBay cos I'm not going through that again lol

Must have stopped selling it (it was 18 months ago)
Maybe replaced with newer model.
