So i literally got a new job opportunity the Monday after my disciplinary on the Friday. Had a teams interview, short and sweet at 20 mins. Then got contacted for a stage two face to face interview. By the end of that, was offered the job!

Same title, more reasonable workload, better work/life and a car allowance!

So having a few weeks off before starting on the 22nd! Decorating my flat so got time to do all that and put it up for sale (was always the plan but taking longer as was in work a lot).

Only issue is I’m skint until I get my first pay, and I need some cash to do work here. So tapping up my dad for a pre release on my inheritance this weekend.

Of course in these situations shite happens… had a power cut which blew my TV and dehumidifier… Then the other day the boiler packed up!

So dad better work out how to send cash quick time!!!

Overall a good result, I’m more relaxed and less anxious and also ready to do work, feel the rush of sorting things and hopefully realeasing my cash from the house, pay off the ex and spunk it all up the wall again!

Yay, go me!

Surprised it didn’t make the national news the amount of fuss it caused. I switched off all the power to a hotel and allegedly brought my company into disrepute.

Hindsight is great. Still think I was right in what I did, but went about it in a way perhaps I could have done better. Part of me thinks it was a subconscious purpose with the aim of creating a situation to change jobs… that’s my story and I’m sticking with it!
