I have a external Waterproof monitor which is dvi-i connecting to a KVM extender which is dvi-d
A dvi-i cable male to male wont suffice as it won't fit in the KVM end and a dvi-d cable won't suffice as it won't carry analogue input to the monitor (not that we are using analogue but would be nice to retain the functionality)
Any ideas? Such a thing as a dvi-i to dvi-d cable?
why would you want to be able to display via analog? unless the monitor is 20 years old and doesn't accept a digital input, and as said the kvm dont have analog output so i fail to see the need for analog ??
and you say to maintain fuctionality ?? its just an analog way of displaying an image, to which digital replaced many years ago
Just the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.
