    His manuals were very useful. Must have used at least a dozen or so over the years before everything became available on the internet. (">

    same as you got about a dozen books, there were other car books around when i starting owning & fixing cars, but haynes took over the market.

    I've still got a Haynes MGB manual and Land Rover manual, complete with well thumbed grease and oil stained pages. I often wondered how they made them. Did they buy a new car and just pull it a part and record the process?

    Great books, probably saved a lot of cash back when it was right. A great legacy RIP.
