Default any lazy man's way to polish & seal your car ?

    hi folks
always had old (workhorse) cars, just got Mrs a newer car which is in good condition and and I'll like to keep it that way.
    but i need an easy/lazy man's way (I know what I'm like)
what I want to do is wash it every few weeks, polish and seal the paint 2/3 times a year
i was thinking about getting a DA polisher just to make it easier for myself
is there a lazy man's way to do this ? I'm not trying to make it showroom condition, just keep it looking nice

If you want to skimp on the effort then look after the wheels with wonder wheels colour active spray and for the rest use demon shine. Wheel cleaner about a fiver from Wilko, get larger quantity of demon shine from eBay it's not labelled as demon shine but is made by car plan.

We all have these good intentions at first but unless you're a real detailing enthusiast then who would reasonably want to spend a day cleaning their car.

I have a large box full of stuff in the shed and also a polisher given to me as a gift. Also various bits of polymer wax and normal wax (Harly) plus application bits and bobs. Clay bar, clay mitt, lubricant, rain-x/rainaway it goes on Results won't be like a car show but will be fine
