    Advice Internet security

I have been using ESET internet security along with TNOD to insert keys for a fair few years now. But I'm getting bored with the faff about, so what are people using nowadays? I suppose I'm going to after go down the paid route, so what're my best options?

I use Eset Internet Security and Endpoint Security (I am affiliated with them though) and like them all, I first started using Eset after Rap recommended it on here many many years ago. I also have MBAM running alongside but only because I bought lifetime licences, if I didn't have that I wouldn't pay for MBAM and an AV.

Other than that I think Bitdefender is supposed to be really good, I used to say Kaspersky too but they may be Russian state sponsored so would avoid them now.

Most free utilites are bloated, someone one here recommended Immunet which is what I now use on servers where they don't want to pay an Eset licence. It doesn't offer as much protection as the full suites but paired with sensible use might be ok.

I use commodo internet security free.
I used to use avg and eset but found they slow down the machine way too much.

Tried all sorts out over the years but cis seems to be a nice balance.

Have tried Mcafee with BT but you cant exclude a full folder or drive only file types which is a pain.

I used to highly rate Kaspersky, but I'm running it at the moment and it looks like I've been infected by something it didn't and still can't find .
