Default Cartridge reading tricks I can use

I own several game cartridges (and discs) for GB/GBC/GBA/N64/GC/NDS, and I would love to return to playing them on an emulator. For example, I have used MyBoy on Android, and it is an excellent emulator.

My problem is getting the ROM data (which I am licensed to use inside the cartridges/discs that I own), into a file format which emulators can read. And yes, I know the GC discs spin backwards, etc.

I'd rather not use the original hardware since most on the market are well trashed.

If anyone knows of links to such transfer devices or links to forums discussing how to do it, I'd appreciate the help.

I think you'd be running a fools errand buying hardware for the sole purpose of obtaining ROMS, when they're readily available in the wild.

Like you mentioned, if you won the original cartridge you're licensed to use roms anyway, so long as you download the relevant version (PAL/NTSC)

    2 Thanks given to Ganty

I'm sure you will find your whole physical game collection in rom format somewhere on the internet
