Default Ebay Advice - Selling Digi Codes

    Hi All

I got some digi codes for a few things that are 100% legit and want to sell them on ebay but just want some advice of any scams people might try.

How do I prove they received it if the raise a complaint is the main one as I guess I email them it but other than no bounce back there is nothing to say they cant try it on?

    Thanks ;-)

Post them out to them recorded delivery.
Any other way is going to be useless unless you have a way of cancelling the codes if they try a fast one.

Won't help a lot as most just claim the code didn't work, if you were vip I would say stick them in the buy and sell on here but at a guess on ebay you would be lucky to get away with a 50% scam rate on digital code sales as they look for non established sellers and new sellers to scam with digital codes.

Like BB said, BST here would be a good shout, failing that friends/family. Far too easy to get screwed over.

    Hi

    Sorry to hear this.

You will have to open a case and in form ebay.

They will check your logins via ip address and if suspicious activity they will refund u under buyer protection.

I can't refund u as the codes are unrecoverable ??

Got another one ON HOLD by Paypal while they investigate it (Already sent the code)

But ebay say these are all sold with Seller Protection so looks like they payout even if it turns out malicious.

    Fuck EBAY.

    EBAY ARE CUNTS.

They are complicit Financial Crime, and are assiting in people laundernig money. The way they treat sellers is shocking. Not to talk about the "final value fee". Why the fuck, after I pay you to list it, should you charge me a % of what it sells for? Cunts trick.

I'd have used AV Forums Marketplace, far superior to BST, although as a new user, you'd have proably been asked to send the code first from some buyers.

    Thanks to BigBrand

I happy with ebay as these are seller protected so I will get money even if peoples accounts have been hacked.

Yeah the fees are shite but least its protected ;-)

I keep reading there is no seller protection on digital goods but as I don't sell on ebay I can't confirm what appears to be more opinion than linked fact.

    That's a generic reply, I don't think you're covered for digital content.
