    Default WIFI hotspot (commercial)

Any recommendation on setting up a commercial WIFI hotspot that has logging.
A friend is wanting to offer free public WIFI in his restaurant & has been told it must support logging.
As the traffic will be lite, im looking toward a raspberry PI image.
The range should be short, so doesn't need to be powerful, just reliable.
    Any suggestions.

This might be a little overkill, but have you looked into [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]?

Have you looked at Ubiquiti kit? Not sure if it logs but it is commercial. Cisco Meraki would do the job but overkill and expensive.

Im waiting for thew new Pi4 stock to become available. Ill then try Raspberry Pi Captive Portal & Pi-Hole to see if either of those will work.
Its going to be a learning curve tbh, as it a alot different to set than a home network.
