    Help Heavy Duty Shower Hose

We have a hand held bidet for one of the toilets, but for some reason the hose always keeps splitting/breaking.

The hose is normal shower hose, have tried a few from cheaper to more expensive ones, but they always break after a short time which ends up causing a flood.

So many have failed that everyone seems to be now thinking we just stop using it totally.

I'm thinking to have one last bash at this, but now I'm keen to get a decent hose that is known to be good so I thought I would ask here if anyone has any recommendations.

Have you tried a PVC hose over braided? Less flexible, but much more robust.

Shorter would be preferable to a massively long one.

We've tried various different ones, the one that just failed funnily enough was a PVC - this time round the pipe held up, but the shitty plastic connector ended up splitting.

I'm really hoping if anyone can recommend me a specific one that's known to be durable - problem is when the hose breaks, it floods the bathroom, then floods the kitchen underneath (potentially very dangerous as the water starts coming through a light fitting).

Luckily every time it's happened so far, someone has been at home so the water has been shut off within a minute or two, but if the water was running for a while, could end up flooding the kitchen properly, then other rooms. So far no serious damage has been caused by the leaks, but that's only because we have been very lucky.

Because of this, everyone else wants to totally give up on the idea, so I have one last shot at this, but I must get it right, rather than potentially trying out a few until I find a decent one.
