Air Line connector confusion

I need to change the steel (left) quick release adapter as its not compatible with my Euro fitting.
I bought the Brass (right) Euro bsp quick release connector online, only to find the thread is different

Having searched online to find what differentiates them, & i have come up with nothing.
Both are labeled at "1/4 BSP quick release" & the only difference is the quick release section which is marked as "Euro" & nothing referring to the thread.
WTF am i missing here !

Take the correct one along to your nearest motor factors like euro car parts or that kind of thing and ask. A decent motor factors will have workshop components in stock or will be able to order the correct part for you.

We sell both 1/4BSP snap connectors at Machine Mart if there is on near you.

Thanks, ill give Machinemart a go as it looks way cheaper than Europarts.
Its a mind field out there with so many variable's.

The one on the left is 1/4 BSP and the one on the right 1/4 BSPT(T stand's for tapered, British Standard Pipe Tapered). They are both made of mild steel but the one on the left is zinc plate and clear passivation and the one on the right is zinc plate and colour passivation.

If you had a 1/4 BSP die you could run the tapered one down to be parallel.

Machinemart couldn't help, so i may try and recut it as you suggest SS30, as not ever tried that before & i have nothing to loose

Unless you can get a cheap stock and die (the stock is needed to hold the die) your best bet might be a die nut as it's preset to the right size and all you would need is a big spanner to turn it.

The Machine mart ones are the wrong thread. I have chucked it all back in the shed now tbh.

whats are you using them for ?

the aldi or lidl ( can't remember which one i bought it from ) compressor which uses the Euro type connector the ones from machine mart fit just fine on everything iv'e used one on
