So it seems that my NAS (Thanks Fear345) has some fucking exploit that was only patched a few months ago. Unbeknowing to me of course.
NAS only purpose is just for backups of my Microserver, a few key files, music and photos that I backup in 100 places because Im a para twat. Looking at the two drives in the NAS they all had little ransomware messages sitting in each folder. Any larger files were skipped, but most were encrypted.

Needless to say, I don't give a flying fuck but did my usual shit of baiting the fuckpipe and threatening to track him down and go all Rambo stylee.
In reality I've now wiped the drives, pulled the plug on the online connection to the NAS so its only local and re-ran backups last night. So, back to where it was before.
Just a load of ball ache for no reason TBH. So in short, make sure you are on top of your NAS updates, and stay the fuck away from DLink 320's...
