I have a small DAB+ Antenna Mag Mount which I need to be sure doesn't move on the boot of my Focus.
It's this one in the link but it's not got a particularly strong magnet though it does stick OK on normal roads, but I wouldn't be so sure if I was doing 70 down the slab...
So I wondered if I stick a neodymium magnet with a really high KG pull inside the boot, would it help the magnet on the antenna stay in place better by making it a stronger attachment?
I was looking at this beast on Amazon (maybe overkill but it's only a tenner...)
On the inside of my boot (I'll try to describe it) there are 3 gaps between a "second skin" but the centre of the boot has part of this "second skin" there and I want the mount central on the boot so it would be over one of these skins - basically it has maybe a half inch, maybe less, of space between the skin and the boot metal itself, where I would want to place the neodymium magnet.
So would this Neo attract the mag mount base through this bit of space to make it stick even more?
Did I explain all that well enough????
