    Default Capcom Home Arcade

Any thoughts on this? I was thinking of getting one for my son for crimbo, he's well into his retro gaming.

Looks a bit pricey, people make their own cabs or if you don't care too much about the controls you could look at Retroarch and some controllers. I have an Amazon FireTV with RetroArch that covers most emulators and a decent SD card holds as many games as you want (games can be downloaded for free). The only extra app I had to run was ePSXe as RetroArch seems to struggle with PS1 games and some of my favs are on that platform.

or go for a pandora's box type device, basically the same thing with 100s of games.

I do quite like the idea of these devices with a limited number of games on them, when you have an impossible amount of games via an emulator you seem to spend more time just browsing games and playing 1 for 5 minutes than actually investing some time into a game.
