    Default Florida/Parks 2021

Hi, looking to see if anyone can offer some travel advice for a holiday Orlando 2021 for my 50th and my partners sisters 40th. We will all be travelling as a family group. 3 families of 8 adults and 5 children!
I'd like to book it all separate but I can see them all panicking about that so has anyone done this kind of family trip before?
I've been to a villa previously but with only a smaller group.

The hotel resorts seem to be popular(not the disney ones) on trivago etc
Car hire would be needed and of course park tickets for 3 or 4 days.

Whats the best options for flights/hotel or villas please?
I know it's a big area to cover but I know a lot of you travel a lot and will have a far better idea than me of where to start!
    many thanks in advance

We did this when we got married there.
Two villas will be ideal swimming pools and on suites,

We use a company called pillinger travel. google them and just give them a call, there’s a guy there called Gavin he will sort you out with some decent prices,
We haven’t used anyone else since we used these prices are great and they can do everything for you.

We have been 7 or 8 time’s now and love Florida so much so we got married there
    Instagram and twitter @mrteajunkie.
I make mugs, keyrings, coasters, T-shirt’s and decals.

    For car hire
    Discountfloridacarhire.co.uk
Is who I would recommend as Andy is great and all prices are well below what you get going direct normally.

    Park tickets
Park tickets either get if only wanting a few days like 3/4 the undercover tourist website is best bet however your probably gonna work out cheaper with a 14 day ticket as these include all water parks and allow to go to multiple parks in a day.

    Miscellaneous things to consider
If going down hotel/motel route don’t forget to factor in resort fees and parking charges as well as parking at theme parks etc.

2021 is the 50th anniversary of WDW and is set to be a massive year so may be worth taking into consideration also.

Fly into Sanford if you can as it’s not anywhere near as busy as MCO.

Visitor toll pass free to sign up and saves scrambling for change for toll roads or having to pay rental company back plus there fees etc.

We are heading back again in June fire me any other questions you have mate and will do my best to answer them.

well, we have decided to push back until 2022 with all that's going on..the prices already started shooting up and it will be a nightmare there next year now..
on the plus side give more time to save for extra luxuries etc..

This is something my brother & I was planning this year, but looks like we'll put it off for another year.
    DFCH- brilliant andy is great
Have a look at Bahama Bay appts I was ther elast April and they were good and plenty of space and pools, 2 & 3 bedroom properties, so you can be close but not necessarily on top of each other.
Maybe sterling will rally and we will get a better exchange rate!
Might be worth looking at converting one ticket to annual pass (universal/disney) to cover free parking and discounts available at the parks

I'm booked to go in August but have not been able to get hold of my travel agent for the last couple of weeks so God knows what's going to happen. I've read a few reports that the theme parks are likely to be limited / restricted access but I don't really fancy a holiday in Orlando without them. Might as well stay in Europe.

We did this last year, booked for 9 of us to fly on the 28th march 2020 it didnt happen but this is what we booked
    All.seperate and direct
Virgin premium economy flights on one of their sale days for just over 700 each we got a full refund
Car hire 15 seat minibus and a car didnt pay as it was pay on collection was about $1200
Villa 10 bed with home and away magic castle or somthing just on the 192 5 mins from disney drive they have a star wars villa in the same complex paid in full ?2500 received ?500 refund and they wont refund any more so avoid them.
    Park tickets
We went for the 14 passes from attraction tickets for universal and wdw but bought discovery cove from a customer if mine toucan travel who were the cheapest by about 20% kenedy bought direct. All passes have been extended till september 2021

We are hoping to go august 2021 but only if the parks return to normal

Similarly, our vacation got canned, and we are in the long list of people waiting to get Virgin refunds.
The way the parks are now, I'm not interested in going back. I just don't fancy wearing a mask all day in that heat, I'd rather just not go.

However , after all my years of visiting the place, my 2 top tips are :
    1. If you are in the area on one of the US Bank Holidays, the parks are rammed and no fun at all. Instead book a day (well in advance) at Discovery Cove, which is number limited so no busier than a normal day.
    2. If you are going to the Universal parks, spend the extra on booking one night at one of their top tier hotels, where all your party will get 2 days worth of unlimited express passes included. These make the experience so much better. You can check in at 7AM and leave your overnight bags in concierge, collect your express passes, and go take advantage of the early opening for residents. They will message you during the day when your room is ready, and you can move your stuff into there then. The next morning, check out and stick your bags in the car, and go back to the park to enjoy your second days Express pass. Note there are two grades of express passes, one is a one time use per ride, the other is unlimited. This is why you have to go to the top tier hotels (like Hard Rock) as only those offer the unlimited as part of the deal. These are normaly something like $70 each just by themselves per day, so if you have a party of 4 or 5, you can see that the room then almost pays for itself.

We did the throw away booking for disney campsite, you need a vpn to access the USA part of disney's site, book 1 night camping, just the pitch.
This did get you free parking fro 2 night, magic bands for all, and early morning hours, and late night too. As you are "stopping on property it DID allow fast pass booking 60 days before arrival rather than 30 days before
