    Default full stop on keyboard stopped working, all other keys seem fine

    the full stop has stopped working on this Acer r3 device..
    all other keys seem fine though?
    I've tried number lock and uninstalling the keyboard and restarting but same result??

    If you hold shift and press the full stop key does anything type? If not then sounds like a weird hardware failure, I assume no liquid has been spilled or anything? Annoying as something so simple may need a keyboard replacement!

    The software test is usually to boot to an alternative device, e.g. a freeDOS bootable USB, and then test the key. If it does not work then it is hardware.

    The other way to test is drop into safe mode and see if it works then.
