    Default Project: Carolina Reapers

As the majority of people are totally stuck in the house I thought I would try and grow
the hottest chilli in the world (at the moment)
so I purchased a Chilli seed kit from a Company that seems to have a lot of information and after sales services going for it.

The Kit finally arrived this morning

A Quick read of the instructions and I had to place the plugs into warm water

    After 8-10 minutes they expanded

I used an old seeding tray which with soil in will keep the tray moist

I put the plugs into 6 holes into the tray

Next I altered my Biltong Machine that I made a few years back

The temp in the Dryer was just over 30 and about the germination temp required

You do not need light at this moment in time, just heat

7 days the seeds germinate (fingers crossed)

So do I lol, I never got anywhere when I tried the Bhuka naga chillies
then again I never tried putting them in a biltong over lol

current temp is 34 so its on the high side, but not at its extreme at 38 where google says is the max for chilli plants
There is 100% water saturation in there with the lid on so hopefully it wont dry out

    Quick Update

They don't seemed to have done much, so I've moved them out of the biltong machine and put on my Bedroom window ledge with the other cayenne paper seedlings which all but 4 have started sprouting leaves out of 30 planted

    Quick update
They seem to have failed in the germination process inside the biltong machine, adapted to producing the right environment.

so I've added them to my Cayenne peppers in a rectangle germination box and still there not sprouting. Ill upload photos tomorrow

The cayenne peppers are doing nicely

My Mates Wife is trying to grow those too. Finding it really hard.

She's managed to grow Chocolate scorpion peppers.

I tried half of one the other day. Ooooffff, put me into a spin for while.

I have nearly 100% success with the cayenne peppers. but I took 2 out of the germination bank and put on the window to strengthen up but I left them there too long and they have wilted. Now they are both with domes on them (cut up coke bottles) and sprayed every few hours. hopefully they will loose the 4 leaves and grow others
