How can I take this to the next level

First of i`m no designer this is the first proper website I have ever done to help out a new junior football club,been running a year now the foundations are their but it always feels a bit cheap and tacky to me, but the club love it ! and I want to take it to the next level.

Whats your thoughts

The site looks great, easy to navigate and it`ll be a fast loader due to the graphix/anims that are on it.

Are you talking about the sliders and images that need optimizing ?..

No I am saying all runs very smoothly as you don't have a lot going on within the main page to slow it all down for mobile users and ones with slow tinternet

Wordpress has come along way since I used to do loads of affiliate sales stuff.
Loads of great tools in the background for SEO to get your search ranks up too.
