Next on the list is look into permanent led aluminium tracks with addressable led.strips on the front of the house and garden so I don't have to put Xmas lights up anymore!
I have been looking at RGB individually addressable led lights for outside, what method/software are you going to use to program them

I am a big Smarthings user, converted few years back from cheep wifi stuff will never look back.

Bought the 2 Lidle LED strip connected first time just needed to change the device handler to get the RGB to work.

I use the Samsung Multi sensors for my doors as it can be setup to detect knock's and use with the Samsung Smartthings alarm.

All this with actiontiles on a wall mounted tablet

Gives a shout any questions on Smartthings big user for years

I have ikea tradfri which was the first smart bulb I bought, they connect to zigbee hubs without the need for the ikea gateway but can’t upgrade FW without the gateway. They are decent but I have mainly installed sonoff t1 switches flashed with tasmota and then used standard led gu10 as it was more cost effective and I don’t need to control the bulbs individually.

    Thanks to evilsatan

That's cool! It's a shame that I can't use new switches as the landlord has said no to new switches!

I assume you have a negative feed to your light switch otherwise how did you get them to work without as I thought only the T3 works without a negative ?

I've bought nine ikea bulbs as they can be controlled via Lidl's hub as they are ZigBee. ?54 on bulbs!

Yes I have neutral wiring as it’s a “new build” house.
