What Are The Best Games ON The Playstation 2

NCAA football by EA-is the best football game out.
GT3- Best racing game
GTA3- Is fun for about a month...

well that is all I the games, that I have sat down to play, most of the time I just start them to see if they boot

Ok, well here's my list. For reference, like the original poster I really, really loved Tricky, both in the World Circuit and 2 player. I've maxed out half of the characters and still go back and play it at least a couple times a week to beat a new stage with one of the characters that isnt yet maxed out.

Other games I quite enjoy, across different genres:

Maximo (gets very hard though after the first few levels!)

i guess none of you guys are big RPG fans huh?

the ONLY REASON i am back in the console scene..is because i got a taste of Final Fantasy X at a friend's house.

last console i owned was SNES...and now i am very near to buying a PS2 with modchip (as soon as price goes down)

played GTA3 b4...played devil may cry....none of them convinced me to get PS2

but FFX.........i am sold! =)

Just NO DVD RIPS(Except State of Emergency I heard the whole game fits in a CD, waste of a DVD-R)..

Anyhow, that number is obscene. How the hell do you function in life if you download that much?!

5. Street Hoops (i must be the only one who likes this game a lot)

I am also an RPG nut (console type) and the PS2 has these in spades compared to the other consoles. You gotta play Okage for the first 2 hours, it's pretty funny. Plus if you're hankering for more, go get some of the PS1 stuff. Those are still pretty good classics.
