*IMPORTANT* The MP3 SCENE in the SHIT

Yea.. we know.. the mp3scene have a big problem since 6-7 mouth. Kazaa,Morpheus,Winmx are the problem.

In fact, a lot of "ripper" search unreleased pre on this fuckins programmes. For example, the Reel Big Fish "advance". When they got it, some legit group tag it INTERNAL, but for the others, they REENCODE it in 192 and they releases it. Result, the scene have a lot of crap released, like Glassjaw, rbf.. all 128 reencode in 192.

i dont know if u dont care about this, but for me, i think we must add a "rule" in the scene. What about add a cover for big pre or for promo song?

The scene have created some rules to keep the releases in good quality...

thats not a BIG scene problem, like you say. noone gives a shit about it. lame groups, lame releases are both well known.

you know what: give the scene a favor and stop talking about it on isonews.

What do you expect to happen with a post on isonews. This site is a scene NEWS (and always late at that). Not a site court ...

anyways you obviously stated something that shows you are not too well connected. Mp3's are mostly released by the groups stated above. When unsure about what you are gonna download , just wait for confirmations, no shame in downloading the second day after release and not being uberl33t 0day noobster...

anyways , haha mp3 == no quality no matter the bitrate...

Yep.. I think it's to easy to "release" something. That why all new group try to fake-reencode shit to become more big, to get site and respect. But 90% of the fake releases are nuked and they got nothing except a kick in the ass!!!

2mcm... the very groups you posted include the ones most notorious for reencodes (cough ksi, cough, remember boc?) and general security/etc bullshit. and its really only clueless iso/etc (merikans...) sites that add mp3 sections that have retarded rules like "RNS, EGO, KSI, etc".

and yes, reencodes are a fucking annoying problem, especially as it takes a whole lot of time to _prove_ that it's jacked (ie frequency cutoffs, the like) and by that time it's too late to nuke anyways, and putting out a legit advance ripped in good quality runs the risk of being nuked as a dupe (which it isn't...).

ummm...Re-encoding a 128kbps mp3 to a 192kbps one is still going to be have 128kbps quality. You can't magically transfer those extra bit of quality to it if the source is LQ.
