only time i've really gotten choked up at a movie was in "The Patriot". Not the best movie i've seen by far, but the part when Mel Gibson's daughter who doesn't talk comes wailing after him crying her eyes out gets me every time. Damn manipulative director

dunno what "the last one" was, but the two things that jump to mind are "beaches", at the part right where it cuts to the graveside, with the music & whatnot... and the stage play/musical "les miserables", i had tears streaming down my face practically the whole time, not from sadness, but just because i thought it was so fucking beautiful. oh, and that last comment goes also for a set i saw in santa cruz once, around '83 or '94... of the anthony braxton quartet, my jaw was hanging open the whole time & i had tears streaming down my face from refusing to blink, i was so amazed. those fuckers were out of their minds.

E.T.Can't stand it when he's in the creek all white and shit. Then when he dies, even though i've seen it several times, and know he comes back to life, it kills me. Then, we get to the end, the goodbyes are the worst. I also saw someone mention The Iron Giant. That scene gets me too

Am I the only one who cry at the end of fellowship of the ring? I don't usually cry, but this movie still makes me cry.
The majestic was my last one, I think when his "dad" is dieing.
