is it long to get points???
and what can u buy with them??
For what they're talking about in this thread (the Back 2 School modules), there are no points they give out, it simply puts you in a drawing for software, gift certificates, etc.
The points that they are talking about are for the XBox portion of the site.
You take quizzes on games and hardware for the XBox, and you are awarded points immediatly after quiz completion (100 pts/quiz + 10 extra points if you get all the answers correct the first time).
I believe you can get 2,670 points in total ATM, which would buy you at least one game (MS games for XBox...Halo, Rallisport Challenge, Amped, Fever '02, etc.). I'm holding my points on the chance that MS puts some more quizzes soon, so that I can get another game.
The cost to you for the games is ~ $8.62 for shipping and handling.
From what most of the people are saying, the shipping times are pretty quick (2-4 days).
If you have any more questions, ask.
I was pissed, theo nly CC i have is my American Express, after trying it 20 times, and speaking with them about it, they finally admitted they were having problem with AMEX transactions, and took that credit card availability off the page... And to think, i actually DID work at circuit city and all that other stuff...
/me cries,
all i wanted was a football game.
What you can try is go by one of those check-cashing places, I believe Mastercard has a "one-time" use CC program. You can put a certain amount of money on it, and use it like a Mastercard.
Just a thought, somthing you might be able to try.

Has anybody else besides me notice that the "Back to School Module 3" has disappeared from the MS training site ?
Yep, it's gone for now. I'm thinking they just took it down until it is able to be done. Instead of teasing us with a link to it, but it's not ready.Originally posted by chibchacan
