    Default CDRWin and Windows XP

I've tried CDRWin 3.8G and other versions without success on XP.

When starting, I get a message "(12) Error reading DosDevice information
Error = 122" and after "(40) The data area passed to system call is too
small" then "Error: Unable to initialize the ASPI manager".

EDIT: odd.. when i unplug my USB keyboard, CDRWin starts up fine

    Can someone help ?

I've used cdr-win from v3.8 to the latest v3.9 on Windows 98,ME,2000 & XP with no problems at all. On 2000 & XP Pro you need to install an aspi layer for it to work.
I use the aspi from Adaptec on XP Pro.-

You should install the aspi layer before any cd recording software is on your system. Then install your burning apps.

Yep, uninstall all your burning apps, install the aspi layer, reboot and use the aspichk utility included with the aspi to see if it's been properly installed and working. Sould look like this on XP Pro.-

Then reinstall your apps. Make sure you using a good reg key with CdrWin. It's know to have protection that will screw up your cd's if it detects a bad key.

There's no need to unistall your burning appz...for CDR-Win to work, all you need to do is download the aspi layer from NERO's website and save it in the directory where CDR-Win is installed. Try using search next time, been documented previously.
