    Default Error with Dreamcast Movie Creator

    my system...
    Celeron 600, 128 MB RAM, Windows 98 SE...

    i tried to convert a DIVX film wich i have in the Sofdec format through Sega Dreamcast Movie Creator.. it start encoding... but after a few minutes it stop and say this message...
    "Video Data Rate or VBV Buffer Size is too small"

    it a movie in DIVX 5.0, about 1h40min...


    plzz could anyone help me???
    did this program (DC Movie Creator) really works?
    the quality is very good????

    Sounds like the problem is in your source file, not the encoder. Movie creator is, from what I understand, based HEAVILY on Panasonics MPEG-1 Encoder. It is NOT forgiving of bad source files. It cannot compensate for bad frames the way the rendering engine for, let's say, Windows media player can. Media player wil just drop the frame, the encoder NEEDS the frame to continue. Use a editor like vDUB to see if you can isolate, and edit out the bad frames.
