Need an advice on speakers

Hey guys
I wanna buy a new PC and I want good speakers.. I dont need BAD ASS speakers just something nice to feel the games (like AvP2 you know ). So I was thinking about these 2:
Creative Labs Inspire 4.1 4400
Creative Inspire 5.1 5300

The price defference is about 25$. Which one should I go for or maybe you know a nice set of speakers (not listed above) which you could recommend?
I need the speakers mostly for games b/c I dont do any sound editing or whatever maybe some MP3 once a week and yeah I love to watch movies

yeah and another thing what do you think about this pc:

i dunno what t hat stupid little white kid said up top but klipsch are the loudest best quality speakers u will ifnd anywhere--- if you have the money. i got the klipsch 4.1 a little over a year ago they are amazing. if people tell u other wise then its because of the money becasue these speakers are fairly expensive.

The speakers you are looking at are fairly good. Speakers by Creative are pretty reliable. If you are only going to use the speakers for games then the one extra satallite on the Inspire 5.1 5300 is useless. I say go with 4.1 speakers (or Four Point Surround) so you should also look at Creative FPS 1800 Speakers and if you could spend a bit more money, get the Creative FPS2000 Speakers. They're digital and work great, I got em myself!

You picked nice components for your system. One thing I would recommend doing is waiting a week or two and getting a KT400 motherboard instead. It'll add DDR400, SerialATA, and AGP8X support. You also should think about gettin a faster processor now that the 2400+ and 2600+ models were released. If you got time, wait until the 2800+ model will come out, that one's supposed to be for the 333Mhz FSB so it'll be much faster. The video card is nice but I recommend waiting until the Radeon9700 comes out (it did, will be in stores in a week or two) and gettin that. If you're thinking about getting a DVD-ROm drive, the ASUS 16X and Lite-On 16X are great & cheap choices.

Radeon 9700 is gonna cost 400$ which is abit more than I can afford I will wait tho to see the new amd and that new mobo your are talking about

if u can spend it, id get the logitech z560s for about 140, i splurged and got em, there amazing! i cant put the volume any louder than 1/2 way or my whole block complains

Well I always wanted them but where I live they sell it for 370$ which is too fucking much!
I guess Ill get the Inspire 5300 (they say new games will support the 5th satellite ) if I wont find anything better

Is the a point in getting the PC2700 memory? from the topic "Buying a lot of new compoenents, help/opinons wanted" £ogic said that amds dont support the FBS or whatever of the memory so I wont see any defference?
Will the AMD Athalon 2400+/2600+ support PC2700 memory?

AMD motherboards support pc2700 memory, you just won't benefit from the extra 66Mhz that pc2700 memory offers because the current Athlon processors on an FSB of 266Mhz (133*2) are slower then the memory.

i use klipsch 2.1's, but only because of my copmuter's problems with 5.1 cards... anyways, they are the BEST speakers money can buy. I reccomend the Promedia 5.1 or 4.1. They'll blow you away.
You gotta have a lot of cash though. My 2.1 Promedia's were $200.

and hes looking for budget speakers which most mid range budget speakers are fine.

if your getting the DVD drive then go for the 5.1 but if you just want better gaming speakers get the 4.1 or if u can find them cheapers the z560s
