Is it just me or are you getting numerous, like thousands, bin errors?

Your prob bro, works fine for me here, bin errors once extract or while extracting?!
sfv check runs fine and the image extracts fine, but when I scan the .bin file in CDmage I get tons of bin errors.
and yes i'm using WinRAR 3.0
theres thousans upon thousands of errors in the bin file, scan it with cdmage smash4000
Me just gonna wait for thr official release of sp1 from MS.
Why would I possibly want to upgrade my winXP? I haven't encountered one single problem since the day it was released.
I have even been running it as a server OS, which have run full tilt till this day.

SP1 is "officially" released in the meantime. There are lots of pages offering the download, just search for "xpsp1_en_x86.exe"....
(and NO, you can't get it yet at the MS site, but it's definately final)
Perhaps a little OT, but does anybody know if the FTF release of the same thing (XP Corp incl SP1) is bad? It was released September 1st, it's not listed under releases here on isonews, but it's listed on nforce (not as nuked)...
the ftf one doesnt boot, but i deleted it so i cant tell you if there were bin errors, but yeah...neither release works..Originally posted by Haz

I am currently using Microsoft Windows XP Servicepack 1 Final - pimpsRus on the Devilsown version of XP and it works perfectly.
Also one of my friend tested the follow
Windows XP SP1 Slipstreamed Corporate - MS
On a new freshly formatted machine and it works good as well.
Don't you love how a group claims their release is the best out there and then it has tons of errors. It is that hard to put a CD in a drive and click "make image".
Not to mention that they can't even spell integrated.
Microsoft.Windows.XP.Corporate.Edition.SP1.Intergrated.PROPER-RFM is the good one!
they probably convert the original cd to .iso (with winiso) and reconvert this .iso into .bin , that's why you guys had ton of errors. The solution : convert this .bin into .iso, burn it with Nero, it will work perfectly!
hmm...sfv extracted fine here, and the bin opens up fine with daemon tools
Confirmed, just tested and got the same result. How does the bin errors affect the burnt image and the software on the final burnt CD-R?Originally posted by XtasyO

Does ANYBODY still burn with CDRWIN (the first program that used bin files as far as I know)? Everybody always wants to convert their bin or extract or or burn it with some other stupid new program... just use CDRWIN like intended!!! I don't know wtf a "bin error" is, but I know that when I have a bin file I burn it with CDRWIN and it works. I've never in my life even heard of checking a bin file for "errors" and trust me I've probably downloaded close to 1000 bin files...
so has anybody actually tried Microsoft.Windows.XP.Corporate.Edition.SP1.Intergrated.PROPER-RFM and has got it to boot and install properly? just wondering if this thing is good to go, despite the bin errors.
I agree 100%.. I use CDRWIN on all my bin/cues.. Why would u use/convert with anything else??? Its useless and a waste of time. It burnt fine, ran fine...Bin Error??Who cares..Originally posted by hoover33

CDMage reports .bin errors up the ass, yet it extracts ok. I tested it using the extracted files and did an upgrade - seems to be fine (running it as I type this).
I'm gonna make my own bootable cd out of the extracted files instead of using RFM's fucked up .bin.
Funny thing though - no "MICROSOFT CORPORATION" etc. info in the CD header, just a volume label. Kinda says to me that the .bin wasn't copied from a real M$ master CD.
