i still cant get it to boot up. burnt with cdrwin. i set my pc to boot 1st device: cdrom--then i get several beeps and nothing. tried it on another pc, and i get just a repeated prompt to insert boot cd.

now i have to install devils own, then do the key change and upgrade to sp1. more extra steps.

Why don't you use the new key during the installation of WinXP Corp by DevilsOwn instead? Then there is no need for keychange procedure after the installation.

good idea. but im not sure if the new key will work with devils own.. maybe, since it allows u to change it after install, then why not b4. will give it a go next time..
