Should Battlefield 1942 Keygen - FLT Dox work?

To the poin. Is Battlefield_1942_Keygen-FLTDOX supposed to work in internet myltiplaying games?

"If you have already installed this game using the key FLT gave in their nfo, this keygen will patch your registry with a random/valid key so you can connect to Internet servers and play Battlefield 1942 online." They say in .nfo

I installed FLT release of the game, upgraded to 1.1 using cracked patch. Then I used this keygen and still Im getting "INVALID_CD KEY" or "cannot login" and shit like that.

Has anyone managed to join online games using sthis keygen or is it just bad release?

Moron, think before you post. Why in the hell would they make a keygen saying you can use it to play online if it was intended for making you buy the game.

anyone with half a brain would know what there goal in making the keygen was. If you like the game sure you can buy it but you dont have to get an attitude with the other users about it. They are just wondering why the keygen/patch doesn't seem to work for a wide selection of the users trying to use it. The answer=Hell if I know

The keygen was made so that you can install the game with a somewhat unique cd-key. If you want to play the game online, head out to your local store.

A friend of mine tried it, it didn't work... I guess that keygen is for when you run a private server with a patch on, but not to play on public servers

Introduction

Again a private server patch, this time to let you host your own
Battlefield 1942 server on the internet without the need for having
valid CD keys.

There was a keygen released by us earlier which initially worked, but
it seems the EA authentication servers were not yet started.

Instructions
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Extract BF1942.exe, BF1942.org and MultiplayerServers\GameSpyHost.dll into
your Battlefield 1942 installation directory. You can now logon to
any hacked server without getting the 'server disconnected' message.
The GameSpyHost.dll will make you able to host games for others without
CD Key checks.

To patch the dedicated server, extract only
MultiplayerServers\GameSpyHost.dll to its installation dir overwriting the
existing one.

Note: Make sure you are using an uniquely generated key using the
Battlefield 1942 keygen (included for your convenience).

Now that is just stupid. The key generator was made for online play. Who gives a rats ass if we all have the same key to install the game, only thing that matters about the unique keys is online play not just install.

if it was indeed due to the authentication servers not being up, could you not block connection to the auth servers through the lmhost file or something?
