Battlefield 1942 : Key US/EU

Anyone know if the EU key will work on the US version.
Cause in the EU the have the bad habit to translate the program in the language of the country. They did it with MOHAA also. This causes lots of problems with patches and stuff like that.
I'm gona buy the game when it is out here and would like to play it with the FLT release.

Any ideas

Yeah but if I reinstall it, I would reinstall it in fe Dutch, which would lack updates and patches. Which is not good. The US version is patched sooner, and thus less bugs.
On Mohaa for example we had to wait several weeks before a working patch was out.

Order the game in the US would be a solution but not really cheap. 26$ shipping is alot of money for shipping.
Maybe anyone tried this with MOHAA?

i need to pay 300 bucks to get a game from US :/ i live in Estonia btw.

The key from an EU version should work on the US game. So just reinstall the US version with the "dutch" key.

BTW I thought you get games in english with a dutch manual in Holland?

with RtCS i only had to type in the new key. Sometimes you can edit a file where the key is stored or edit e registry entry to get the program to work with a new keygen. I dunno how it works with bf, cause i havent burned it yet, but since the flt keygen changes something somewhere... ok i read the keygen nfo and it states that it changes the key in the registry, so perhaps you just change the entry yourself there, without reinstalling (if it isnt encrypted...).
