Default Mixing DDR RAM Speeds OK?

If you have 256MB of PC2100 installed already, what happens if you put in an extra 256MB of PC2700?

Default No speech in NOLF2 Demo

Well, I mean I hear speech for like 10 seconds, and then it drops out completely, then I hear it again for some time. It says in the readme file that Nimo Codec Pack might be the problem, but I never installed it.
Any suggestions? I have Soundblaster 64 PCI

Installing the codecs that come with the demo might fix it too (I did) but developers should do something about it before game goes gold in a matter of days

Just uninstalled Nimo to see if that would help.
Also tried to run that codec included with the demo before that but that dit not help.

Anyway, after uninstalling Nimo I didnt get ANY sound from the game, and the weirdest part is that in the cutscene in the beginning, they didnt even move their mouths anymore.

Installed Nimo again, and now the sound is back, but no voices :-(

Yeah, I read that after I tried it, and now I have done it the right way. Uninstalled Nimo and NOLF2, rebooted, installed the demo, played it with lots of different settings (hardware sound, sound filter and so on).
Also tried to install that audio-codec whatever it is thats included with the demo.
Still the same thing, without Nimo installed I get NO SOUND AT ALL.

But when reinstalling it the sound comes back, but NO speach.

Really too bad, cause the demo seems to be so good and so much fun :-(

i still get no speech either, i just hope they'll fix it in the final version, that's just stupid that you have to uninstall something to be able to play the game (and that doesn't even help)

you can always play with subtitles on, but that sucks, for example you can't tell from which direction the voices are coming

Sorry, but its nice to hear I´m not alone with this problem...

By the way, I have a Soundblaster 128 PCI, but I dont think its the hardware thats the problem.
Guess I´ve played around too much with Nimo and other codecs to be able to watch all DivX-movies.

Really no good to force us to have appropriate audiocodecs just to play a game :-(
They just have to fix this for the final release...

it's not very far, just go around the corner to the place where you heard two ninjas talking (one of them was attacked by her mother for wearing modern clothes or shit like that) - or read the subtitles in my case - you should spot more ninjas there, kill them all and you'll find a note pinned to the wall which will give you all the info you need. then you just have to get back to this japanese guy.

Do you have a SB PCI 128 too?

same problem too. youd think they realize this and use something different. to my knowledge i didnt have the nimo codec pack installed (unless it came with something else i used) and then i installed the windows audio thing that came with the demo and lost all sound. then i installed the nimo codec pack and got sound without speech. then i uninstalled it and im back to no sound. this really sucks. dont they have an official message board like someone said?

I don't really care about this now, as long as it's not in the final. Too many goddamn issues with sound lately...
