need help with icewind dale 2 chapter 2

i think this game is a great rpg but it is getting ridiculios, i mean if u get to chapter 2 in the fortress, u slay everyone and there is this door that is impossible to open, it says something about silver rune on the door.

can u please help me to how to get in and open the door, btw i mean the door inside the fortress which is guarded by 1000 people.

in the goblin fortress when i try to open the door it says:

"each door leading to the fortress has a huge inlaid unrecognized silver rune."
and then i cant open it. so is ther any way. i tried to go from the roof but the hole has metal bard on it and steam coming out.

Get the Rune then.

what rune, and where from?

Sleep two or three times, then walk around the level you just completed, all non-essential items will dissapear, leaving the rune on the ground by itself. I missed it myself, and had to do this.

Im not entirly sure but I think theres more then one rune also.
