Mafia NOCD patch problem

I got the game installed, but it asks for the "correct cd" when i try to run. So i got the nocd patch, but that doesnt seem to be working. I run it in the game directory, and it says something along the lines of "OLD file incorrect" which im assuming means the original game.exe is no good, but it is!!!!!!!!!!! rrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Any ideas?
